Cuba calls for a swap & Alan Gross asks the U.S. to sign a “non-belligerency pact”

Cuba’s government continues to call for the swap of Alan Gross for Cuba’s  five agents currently imprisoned in the U.S. known as the Cuban Five, reports Michael Isekioff in the NBC article “Cuba pushes swap: its spies jailed in US for American contractor held in Havana”. Meanwhile Alan Gross has asked the United States government to sign a “non-belligerency pact” with Cuba in an effort to move closer to negotiating his release, according to another NBC article “American jailed in Cuba wants to US to sign’non-belligerency pact’ to speed release”.
